I knew from a young age my nature and interests would lead to a career in health. My journey began as a paramedic but altered course after attending a homebirth in 2007. Witnessing a mother’s strength and transition for the first time ignited my passion for patient advocacy and empowerment.
My experience culminated in admission to UBC Midwifery in 2009. The program allowed me to work in the Lower Mainland, as well as Nepal, to further my skills and knowledge.
While I continue to work for the BC Ambulance Service on a part-time basis, serving the women and families of White Rock and Surrey is my focus.
While not on call or in the office, I am an avid outdoor enthusiast and self-proclaimed tea snob. I currently live in Ladner with my partner, 3 young sons, and small menagerie of pets.
